The weekend where we got our car tyres changed & my eyebrows spoiled!!

Friday night, PK prepared breakfast for our dinner. Scrambled eggs, sour dough toasts with spinach & cherry tomatoes salad. What a great start to relaxing weekend. We went into relaxation mode so much so that we both woke up at 1.30 AM and couldn’t go back to sleep till 3.00 AM. I know weird.. right??? 😀

Saturday morning, we went to get our car tyres changed. While that was happening, I went to nearby salon which I visit regularly to get my eye-brows done. The lady managed to spoil my eyebrows!! She did the left one very well, I was quite happy with it but right one… well don’t ask about it 😦

PK got the hint as soon as he saw me coming out of salon with frown face. Now, this has never happened with me before. No one has ever spoiled my eyebrows. I did my eyebrows myself for a year or so, even “I” managed to keep them well groomed but I don’t know why this lady pulled away more hair from my right one. She did apologize but the fact is I have to live with one thin & one thick eyebrow for few weeks. So, when PK asked me what happened, I cried while showing him my eyebrows. Yes, I can cry on such silly things.

The mechanic changing our car tyres saw me crying even though I just cried for few seconds. We went to nearby Indian shop where the smell of fresh, yummy, hot-hot breakfast items totally changed my mood. Of course who can think about eye-brows when you have so much yumminess in front of your eyes? We bought Aloo-kulcha, Veg puff and Samosa chaat to eat. Oh and we bought 7 Vadas to take home and eat with homemade sambhar that night. When we came back to pick up our car, the mechanic asked PK – “Is your wife alright brother, I saw her crying??” 😀 😀

So..our dinner was sorted for that day. We just relaxed, relaxed and relaxed. Then, Sunday morning, again we had nothing much to do. We were on our lounge till 1.00 PM. Then I remembered that I had to exchange a top that I bought from target. So we got ready, went to target exchanged my top & bought a beautiful denim jacket instead. Had quick coffee and came back home. Again, we had nothing to do so we went for looooong walk around our estate. The friends were in our area so they dropped by for couple of hours. Had my weekend dose of Pani-puri & went to sleep. Done.. our weekend was over.

We were really looking forward to this weekend because all we wanted to do is to lie in bed & chill. Our groceries were stocked already. Our house was almost clean. So no grocery shopping, no major cleaning, no other plans and no commitments. Also, after letting my frustration out here, my mind was so calm & composed. hehehehe.. All in all both PK & I were in happy mood all the weekend. Sometimes I was feeling as if I am staying in a resort or I am on holidays or something. I kept feeling déjà vu of our honeymoon days when we were totally blank, no stress, no work just plain fun 😉
