Quick yummy sandwich recipe

Do you guys remember I told you I made some super quick yummy sandwiches on Saturday??

My Mum used to make these for us when we use to bug her with “bhukh lagi hai, bhukh lagi hai’ in the evening, she still makes these for my sisters & bro just not for me coz I am very far from them 😦

Anyways.. How she prepares these quick sandwiches??

The recipe is – chop a medium size onion, two tomatoes, add salt, red chilli powder and pav-bhaji masala as per taste, some chopped coriander & green chillies if you like the heat. That’s it.. Mix everything & your stuffing is ready.

I chop the veggies in chopper & mix spices in that only, shortcut you know πŸ˜‰

Apply some butter on the bread, put some onion-tomato mixture on it, some cheese slices or shredded cheese (if you like) and then place another bread on the top & put it in sandwich machine.Your sandwich will be ready once the light goes green.. err.. this is the setting in my sandwich machine… but you can always toast them on the griddle or tava πŸ™‚

There are many variations you can do in the flavor like add chaat masala instead of pav-bhaji masala, spread some green chutney on the bread if you like or add some capsicum, carrots in the mixture if you want. Any changes you make, the sandwich will be delicious. Pakka (minus the cheese & butter part if you want to eat super healthy sandwichesΒ  ;-))
