My new name…

I think I have mentioned in some post about how much scared I am of animals. I am scared of dogs, cats, rabbits, be it any pets or insects, you name it. Just to give you an idea, I cannot walk on the same road where a person is walking with his/her pet dog behind me. I would rather stop for 5 minutes till the dog & its owner is gone far away. (Sorry Aarya) The other day when we were coming out of our new house, I saw a black insect near the door, (don’t know what it’s called but was scary looking), I came out of that door only after PK hushed it away 😦

Anyways.. I was writing about my new name, right?? yeah so he never calls me by my actual name. If he calls me by my name when we are with my in-laws or somewhere in India, I feel like some stranger is calling me because I don’t have habit of hearing my name in his voice.

So you must be thinking what he calls me???

He has given me countless names and I don’t know from where PK finds these names.

He sometimes calls me “Chikoo”, a fruit!! *roll eyes on selection of a fruit, can’t he select any other fruit??*

He sometimes calls me “Chakli” which is Gujarati of Sparrow.

Sometimes he calls me Puppy, which I don’t know what he means by that, A kiss(pappi)??? Or an actual puppy-dog?? I don’t know!!

Sometimes he calls me MJ. wait.. wait..  don’t roll your eyes. It’s not Michael Jackson but it’s short form of “Meri Jaan” which is “My Life” in English 🙂

Sometimes he calls me Puppydoll!! sometimes Sweetukle!! Don’t ask me what all these means!!

Oh and the funniest one – “Makodi” Black ant. An insect!! eew!!!

so.. I was reading news online yesterday & I read this story of how three dogs attacked this jogger and how he is hospitalized now. I was telling about this to PK, the whole day whenever we talked on phone but he did not have time to read it. So, while returning home, in the car I again asked PK if he read the news??

PK: Which news??

Me : arey.. I am telling you to read it since morning..  the dogs and jogger’s story. We cannot even go for a jog safely?? I am so scared if we go for walk and dogs might attack on us. I hate dogs 😦

PK: arey meri puppy.. aise darte thodi hai. Aap strong ho na?? Aur main hu na, agar dogs ne aapke upar attack kiya toh main unko kaatunga, chhodunga hi nahi unko..  LOL

Me: nahi main puppy nahi hu.. woh bhi dogs hi hote hai na and I don’t like them 😦

PK(controlling his laugh): Ok, I will call you kitten from now okie??

Me: Nahi.. I am scared of kittens too..

PK: okie I will call you kittu from now..happy now??

Me: hmm.. okie 🙂

So there people.. I got a new name “Kittu” just because of a man that got bitten by dogs very badly!!
